I have always resisted having a food journal in the past, even though I had heard that there is a lot of evidence supporting their use. But my accountability journal is a lot more than a food journal and it’s really helping me to be accountable and to get things done.

My name is Heather and I’m from Portland, Oregon. I am eating a plant-based, whole foods, unprocessed diet, with no sugar, oil, or salt, to take off weight and regain my life. I once weighed over 436 lbs and have released over 238 lbs eating this way and walking for exercise.
